Our basic structural rodent control program for commercial use is predicated on excluding these pests from your facility. Non chemical treatments that have been found to be effective are employed first and if necessary chemical treatment is used at our discretion. Green and environmentally friendly and safe products are available at your request where applicable. We will begin with a thorough inspection of the facility to locate mouse entry points. Once these points are located, they are baited and sealed with non-corrosive copper mesh leading to an application of expanding foam being put over the mesh to ensure that the mesh stays in place. These entry points can be found in kitchens, bathrooms, beneath heating units, and also in baseboards of closets. Wherever they are located, our team or certified technicians will find them and make sure they take the necessary steps to gain success on the first visit.

Another thorough procedure is done for evidence of roaches or live roaches found in the facility’s food and/or non-food areas. Once the roach infestation is located, the area is treated with environmentally but highly effective roach gel baits. Usually such areas are located in kitchens or bathrooms. Insect monitor traps are placed to warn for re-infestation in these infested areas. Baits and bait stations combined will help achieve control of the infestation. At a high level of infestation, roaches may need to be removed through a vacuum process to provide knock down of the roach population. A weekly or bi weekly follow up should be set up to ensure the infestation is under control.

You must make sure that all utensils are sterilized before using, and that they be put into storage when not in use. Also be sure that all thermometers are working to check temperature of water, meats, and any other food in your facility. Failing to meet the required temperatures can cause you to gain a minimum of 7 points to your inspection score due to the fact that it’s a public health hazard. The less points you have, the better your score will be. These points can really add up if you have a critical violation such as failing to wash the vegetables in your garden salad before serving it to the public which can give you a minimum of 5 points, or a general violation like disregarding to sanitize the utensils can give you at least 2 points. These points also depend on the violations condition level. The higher the hazard, the more points you will receive. This is what you need to be careful about because they can shut your facility down if it poses a high threat to health and hygiene.

• 3) Evidence of mice or live mice present in facility's food and/or non-food areas.
• 4) Evidence of roaches or live roaches present in facility's food and/or non-food areas.
• 5) Food not protected from potential source of contamination during storage, preparation, transportation, display or service.
• 6) Sanitized equipment or utensil, including in-use food dispensing utensil, improperly used or stored.
• 7) Facility not vermin proof. Harborage or conditions conducive to vermin exist.
• 8) Plumbing not properly installed or maintained; anti-siphonage or backflow prevention device not provided where required; equipment or floor not properly drained; sewage disposal system in disrepair or not functioning properly.
