Howard Stern said on the radio that he was “scratching every minute” after they realized bed bugs had infested his radio studio in New York City.

His office in midtown Manhattan where he broadcasts his Sirius XM Radio show was exterminated that weekend and has since been bed bug free.His limousine was inspected and bed bugs were found there also. They fumigated his limo also and it is now 100% bed bug free.

Howard Stern then jokingly said that environmentalists who originally pressed to ban DDT were to blame for the bed bug epidemic we are now facing in the city. Howard Stern’s office has now joined the ever-growing list of New York City buildings that have been hit by bedbugs.

Bed bugs have also been found in theaters, clothing stores, office buildings, housing projects and posh apartments throughout the New York City, and a reappearance of bedbugs is being seen across the U.S.Exterminators have called New York City the epicenter of the bed bug epidemic. The city has a plan to fight the spreading infestation, including a public-awareness campaign.
